Membership Benefits
1. Discount entry into group classes – New Lynn on Tuesdays (Beginners/ Refreshers), Onehunga on Wednesdays (Intermediate) - 1 ½ hours
of tuition - $12 per person for Members ( non-members $15)
2. Discount
on Private Lesson Tuition – with step lists provided. 30 Mins –
single or double - $27 for Members (non-members $30). 60 mins - single or double $35 members (non-Members $45)
3. Bonus Class at Onehunga
Venue only – Wednesday nights only. 7 – 7.30pm - Free for Members (non-members $5)
This class will teach New Vogue, Old Time, some Latin and Rock-n-Roll.No partners needed
4. Free Group Lesson if Private Lesson is taken in the same week. We invite you to take advantage of this offer but it must be used in the same week as the private lesson. Available only at New Lynn (Beginners/ Refreshers) and Onehunga (Intermediate).
5. Regular
email newsletters – full of news about what’s happening and where to go for dancing.
6. Come dancing with us - every 2 months Lyn will organise a night out of dancing for practice and socialising.
7. Dinner club - twice a year. An opportunity to enjoy a night out organised by Lyn. This might be a night of socialising, fine dining, and chance to meet new club members.
8. Dance Party
Practice Nights - run by Lyn and her team. Details to be announced. Usually held at the Hillsborough Rd venue
It is
obvious that we are large enough in numbers to benefit from having our practice
night - a night where the music is right for all standards and there is an
enjoyable social atmosphere. This night will be open to everyone attending any of
the Dance Auckland group and private lessons, or by invitation only from Lyn. This restriction is to allow more room for dancing, to create and
nurture our club atmosphere, and allow people to get to know one another.
Membership Fee
$40 - for single or couple. (expires 12 months after date of joining)
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available via the group nights - see other pages. Or they can be arranged with Lyn at an Eastern Bays venue.
